AI Deterrence combines advanced artificial intelligence with Alarm.com’s video analytics to automatically analyze individuals entering a monitored area— recognizing clothing, posture, and location, and generate dynamic, AI-driven verbal responses tailored to the situation.
Our Floodlight Cameras can be paired with 24/7 professional video monitoring for unmatched protection. Backed by three UL-listed central stations— including one right here in Syracuse, NY, you get award-winning, AVS-01 certified in-facility monitoring that’s recognized as the best in the industry. Video monitoring has been proven to reduce false alarms and improve emergency response times.
Yes. Floodlight cameras require either CAT5/6 ethernet wiring, electrical wiring, or a 120V outlet to accomodate a DC adapter.
Our AC and DC-powered floodlight cameras utilize WiFi. The PoE (power-over-ethernet) models utilize a hardwired connection for both power and data, which provides a faster, more resilient connection.
Floodlight cameras utilize video analytics, exterior lighting, and sirens to provide an unmatched proactive deterrent where you need it most. Instead of simply recording incidents or sending you a notification, they can be used to scare potential threats away before an incident escalates and any damage is done. Additionally, floodlight cameras provide homeowners with a flexible, affordable solution that can replace most existing floodlights or security cameras, or simply be plugged into an interior outlet.
Yes. We offer AC models to homeowners who prefer to replace existing exterior lights or floodlights with a floodlight camera.
If your security cameras utilize ethernet wiring, they can be easily upgraded to a floodlight camera with the addition of a 60W PoE (power-over-ethernet) injector. Older analog cameras— which utilize Siamese coaxial cables, or battery-powered cameras will require either a wire run or a nearby interior outlet.
You can still turn your floodlight on and off with a floodlight camera, with one major difference: instead of using an interior switch, which would interrupt power to the camera itself, you will use the Alarm.com app or your intergrated Qolsys panel. Our floodlight is also dimmable and fully customizable in terms of motion-activated lighting and light schedules.
Our floodlight cameras utilize Alarm.com's video analytics to establish activity-based lighting and audio deterrence. In addition to the standard 105dB siren and two-way audio, they can be paired with AI deterrence to identify intruders or trespassers based on their location and apparel. Additionally, we offer both visual verification and remote video monitoring to provide faster emergency response and fewer false alarms.
